David Bryan Smith has spent more than thirty years working the room the old-fashioned way: with charm, timing, and a genuine respect for the people who volunteer to come up on stage. Over that time he has hypnotized more than 40,000 people at state fairs, colleges, corporate events, and aboard cruise ships.
He is the author of 101 Creative Routines for Stage Hypnotists and trains other hypnotists in the craft. When peers in his own field come to learn the work, that tells you where the standard sits.
The name “America’s Gentleman Hypnotist” was given to David by Ormond McGill, the man history remembers as the Dean of American Hypnotists. It is not a slogan he chose for himself. It is the reputation he earned.
