David Bryan Smith is a professional hypnotist and entertainer from Atlanta Ga. with over 30 years experience. David has been a favorite at corporate events, colleges, festivals, fairs, comedy clubs and private events. There many differences in David’s show and any other hypnotist. First and foremost is that David is a naturally funny guy with a spontaneous sense of humor that is never harsh or inappropriate. He uses no blue material. Period! He takes great precautions to insure that no one embarrasses themselves or acts inappropriate.

Secondly is that David is an amazingly talented and skilled hypnotist with certifications from 4 national and international hypnosis organizations and was a personal friend of the legendary Ormond McGill – The Dean of American Hypnotists and trained with Ormond in Las Vegas.

A bit more about the show.

My show is similar to the comedy show “Whose line is it anyway” where people are given skits to perform. I love thinking up unique and different situations for people to act out in. They could be anyone in any place. All that is limited is the power of their imagination. I’ve almost completed my first hypnosis performance book called “101 Routines for Stage Hypnotists” so I’m the person who wrote the book on creative hypnosis routines. I’m very careful to use my years of clinical hypnotherapist training to suggest positive experiences for people to draw from. You will not see anyone acting rude or abusive to anyone else or jumping around on the stage wildly that could cause the person to fall or bump into other guests on stage. I don’t lay people out on top of each other as I don’t think that’s appropriate for many situations. I always remind the guests that they will remember everything that they have done to avoid any confusion after the show and I always give some positive suggestions (usually for good sleep or general motivation) so that the guests that appear onstage leave feeling terrific.

I was student of Ormond McGill’s at a seminar in Las Vegas and it was Ormond that coined the name for me as Americas Gentleman Hypnotist (and Poet of Magic – Ormond’s words) after seeing me perform during the seminar. I strive to be exactly that, a gentleman in all manner of business and personal affairs. I come as a complete show with sound system, props and two wireless microphones (a headset and handheld) so that not one guest’s comments are lost during the show. With me, it’s a turn key package that is guaranteed a success.
